Home Theater, New Construction
The home owner set up with the builder to have his own contractor do the
inside wiring for the home theater.
|
While the home was under construction, the prewiring was
started. |
The home theater control center is located above where the projection
screen TV will be in the corner of the living room. |
|
|
Drywall "mud boxes" were used for each termination point to connect
each wire to a wall plate. This is to easily change sound components, without
opening the drywall. |
Surround speakers from "Jamo" were used in the ceiling corners at
the rear of the living room. |
|
|
The home owner used his front speakers and center channel speaker
he already owned from his previous house. |
The subwoofer is a custom built enclosure in the basement firing
through a fake cold air return vent.
A single 12inch "JL Audio" subwoofer was used, with a 150 watt subwoofer
plate amp with remote control. |
